If they stop after 1 or 2 invoices, you get nothing. If they cancel later — for example after 7 or 9 months — you keep the credit you already earned, and new credit stops because they stopped paying. If they pay annually instead of monthly, 1 invoice is enough and you get the 20% right after that payment.

Your friend must pay 3 monthly invoices. After the third payment, your credit is released — including the 20% from those first 3 invoices. Then you keep earning 20% on each invoice until 12 months are done.
If they stop after 1 or 2 invoices, you get nothing. That is on purpose. It stops fake signups.

If you bring enough friends that your whole year is already $0, the next friend still earns you credit. Example: one more friend on a $100 plan = another $240. Your invoice stays $0, and that $240 becomes SMS or dispatch tokens of the same value.
With your real packages: TEAM 5 year = $588. Two TEAM 25 friends = $1,099.20. Your software is free, leftover = $511.20 → ask sales to turn that into SMS / tokens.
